Background and Experience

 

The ETOS association has been operating with Civil Society awareness since 2016. As Eskişehir Society and Art Association, we aim to produce in all branches of art; to contribute and support those who produce; to include art in daily life with the cultural and artistic events we organise; to create and mobilise social awareness and responsibility while expressing personal development, solidarity, social events through art, and to fulfil the awareness of social responsibility as a means of appreciating the labour of the artist. We are an association established to work in every field of art. In this context, we have organised purposeful activities in unity and solidarity with many non-governmental organisations. In our work, we have included artist promotions both locally and nationally. We have organised festivals, exhibitions, film shows, poetry recitals, concerts and theatrical performances, street and stage events, street and stage events, with joint efforts by addressing all segments of society such as children, women, disadvantaged groups, the elderly and young people in the city and rural areas. While realising these goals, we encourage all segments of society to support our children, young people, women, people with disabilities and vulnerable groups.

 

We endeavour to include them in our work.  Since its inception in 2016, the Eskişehir Society and Art Association (ETOS) has diligently operated with a strong focus on enhancing Civil Society awareness. At ETOS, our primary objective is to foster creativity and innovation across all facets of art. We strive to not only produce art but also to provide a nurturing environment for artists, offering valuable support and encouragement to their endeavours. Our comprehensive approach involves organizing a rich tapestry of cultural and artistic events, aiming to seamlessly integrate art into the fabric of daily life. By curating and orchestrating these events, we endeavour to imbue society with a heightened cultural consciousness and artistic appreciation. In line with our mission, we are committed to instigating and mobilizing social awareness and responsibility through the powerful medium of art. We believe in the potential of art to express personal development, solidarity, and societal events, thus resonating deeply with individuals and communities alike. Through this approach, we aspire to cultivate a sense of shared responsibility, valuing the labor and creativity of artists, and elevating the significance of social responsibility in our collective consciousness.
